Did you know? Our own Mario DeMatteo runs a non-profit farm whose mission is to help supply healthy, organic food to homeless and food-insecure people.
Let's take a Saturday morning (Sept. 27) to meet at the farm and help with its very worthy mission!
Expected tasks: weeding, spreading mulch, painting picnic tables
What to bring: closed-toed shoes, sun hat, gardening gloves, sunscreen
Stay afterwards for hot dog BBQ and a walking tour of the farm.
