Welcome Our Newest Member, Deb Carson!
The Rotary Club of Carlsbad is thrilled to welcome Deb Carson as our newest member! Deb grew up in a suburb of Hartford, Connecticut, and began her career as a neuro-intensive care nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Later, she returned to Connecticut to pursue a second career in pharma-biotech and drug development at Bristol Myers Squibb, where she worked on the first antivirals for AIDS.
After relocating to California, Deb continued her impactful work with a company focused on Alzheimer’s disease and Multiple Sclerosis research. Inspired by her friends and fellow Rotarians, Dawn Van Siclen and Pete Rogers, Deb discovered the Rotary Club of Carlsbad. For her, joining was an easy decision!
