San Diego Honor Flight Program Inspires Carlsbad Rotarians
At our recent meeting, Saundra Cima, founder and presenter of the San Diego Honor Flight, delivered an inspiring and educational presentation. She shared the origins and evolution of this incredible program, which honors veterans by sponsoring trips to Washington, D.C. There, veterans visit memorials and take part in special ceremonies recognizing their service and sacrifice.
Saundra was joined at the podium by Club members Neil Black and Matt Hall. Matt gave heartfelt reflections on his military journey, his voice filled with emotion. Neil shared his excitement about joining fellow veterans on the upcoming April Honor Flight.
