Carlsbad City Manager Geoff Patnoe joined us recently to bring us up to date on all things City Hall and beyond. Geoff shared with everyone his extensive experience working with elected officials in Washington, D.C., and Sacramento, as well as the County of San Diego. With just over five months under his belt as City Manager, Geoff shared some upcoming initiatives, especially City Council's goals of planning for future development while maintaining health finances.
Geoff's trademark dry since of humor was on display, telling us he needed to be on his best behavior given two of his bosses were in attendance (Mayor Keith Blackburn was a guest and City Council Member Melanie Burkholder recently joined our club from the Carlsbad High Noon club.
