Rotarians travel to Tecate for service and friendship
Recently, a group of our Club Rotarians traveled to Tecate, Mexico, to take part in two meaningful experiences—supporting the Niños de Baja children’s home and attending the Rotary Club of Tecate’s annual Paella Festival.
During their visit to the children’s home, the group delivered much-needed hygiene products and other essential supplies. More than that, they spent quality time with the children, hearing their stories and sharing moments of connection that left a lasting impression on everyone involved. It was a heartfelt reminder of the power of compassion and the bonds that unite us across borders.
After the visit, the group joined fellow Rotarians at the Paella Festival, a beloved local tradition filled with incredible food, music, and fellowship. It was a chance to celebrate international friendship and the shared mission of service that brings Rotary clubs together around the world.
This trip served as both a meaningful act of service and a joyful opportunity to strengthen our international Rotary ties.
