Long-time California State Licensed Investigator, Joseph Travers, presented our program, a look at the organization Saved In America. Their mission - Locate Your Child. A very special thanks to Rotary Board Member Malena Bennett for arranging this presentation.
At no charge to families, Saved in America works to locate missing and runaway children — one of the groups most vulnerable to sexual exploitation, a major problem for at-risk youth in America today. For victims of sexual exploitation, they assist in procuring legal representation, safe housing, and rehabilitative therapy. They also provide assistance to high-risk juvenile shelters to protect the children from further exploitation by pimps and predators. Saved In America is a non-profit organization of volunteer former law enforcement officers and Special Operations, Navy SEALS-turned licensed, insured private investigators. Since December 2014, Saved In America has assisted in the investigation and locating 199 children from California to Florida. 60% of all recovered children were found before being trafficked.
