Our own Laura Mitchell will present fascinating new technologies to assiste caregivers with in-home care.

Help support North County Lifeline's Adopt-A-Family Community Drop Off Day.  Collect and organize the gift that are being dropped off for Adopt-A-Family Recipients.  Dress festively and wear comfortable shoes as you will be pushing carts and unloading gifts from cars dropping off gifts.

Help deliver the cashier checks for families in need at the 9 Carlsbad Elementary Schools.  Everyone will meet up at Kelly Elementary School at 11am and we will all deliver the checks to Kelly and take photos and then we will divide up into 3 groups and each visit 2-3 other schools. Please be festive and wear holiday attire and help spread some holiday cheer!

Yum! Come show off your chili cooking recipes. It's a cook-off with blind tasting. We'll also be looking for contributions of cornbread, salads, and desserts.

Elena Romine will give us a sample of a course that she teaches at the Osher School on Blue Zones. Also, we will have reps from Osher briefly tell us about the upcoming semester and how to get involved.

Ray Pearson is bringing mentors and mentees from CHS together to talk about this valuable program. We will hear about how these partnerships are preparing high school students for the world beyond graduation.

Mary and Bob Meigs have been supporting this amazing school for years, through their Foundation, but also through personal student mentoring and hands-on help at the school. Find out why this school, that serves underprivileged students, has such an outstanding reputation and why its students have a graduation and subsequent success rate that exceeds the results of standard public schools.

Essential that we have at least two people doing the grants training. We cannot get district or global grants if we don't have people training here!

This is the craniofacial clinic in Tecate that our club has participated in for a number of years. The spring clinic always starts the third Thursday in May. Dave Tweedy and Jan Zachry are the mainstays of this clinic. Others who would like to attend need to inform Dave two weeks in advance so that he can arrange appropriate job duties.
